New Jeep® Gladiator named one of the most anticipated vehicles of 2019 – Autowise.com

Among the automotive industry, one of the most anticipated vehicles of 2019 is the brand new Jeep® Gladiator, according to Autowise.com.

Details were kept under wraps for most of 2018, but anticipation reached a fever pitch when Jeep unveiled its new midsize pickup at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

“Unquestionably a truck and instantly recognizable as a Jeep, the all-new 2020 Gladiator is the ultimate vehicle for any outdoor adventure,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Jeep Brand – North America in an official FCA US LLC press release.

“There is tremendous demand for this unique vehicle from our loyal Jeep customers and pickup truck buyers everywhere. Born from a rich and proud heritage of tough, dependable Jeep trucks, Gladiator combines rugged utility, versatility and functionality resulting in the most capable midsize truck ever.”

This marks the first time Jeep brand will produce a midsize pickup in over 25 years. The new pickup’s name calls back to 1963 when the brand originally debuted its Jeep Gladiator.

The midsize pickup offers best-in-class towing with available Command-Trac and Rock-Trac 4X4 systems to support off-road capabilities.

The new design comes from the Jeep Wrangler model and will offer over 200 Mopar parts and accessories specifically for the Jeep Gladiator. The full Mopar menu features a variety of products and customization options including a Jeep Performance Parts two-inch lift, JPP tube door, spray-in bedliner, a truck bed storage system and much more to make the pickup your own. Several features were shown off at the Los Angeles Auto Show when Jeep Brand displayed their Jeep Gladiator Rubicon.

“We’re giving owners what they need to enhance the most capable midsize truck ever, whether that’s versatile lifestyle accessories or Jeep Performance Parts for hard-core off-roaders.”

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator will arrive in showrooms in the second quarter of 2019 and be available in these different trim configurations: Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon.
