It’s more of what you love, and then some.
The all-new 2022 Jeep® Grand Cherokee, the fifth generation of the do-it-all SUV, is ready to tackle tomorrow’s adventures with style and ability, plus – for the first time – it will offer a range of powerful plug-in hybrid electric vehicles for you to choose from.
Following the arrival of the three-row Grand Cherokee L, the new two-row vehicle comes to the market as the result of an innovative redesign and reengineering process.
Its updated premium exterior is the casing for a new and more luxurious cabin and an array of cutting-edge technology to enhance your drive both on- and off-road.
Not least among these developments is Jeep brand’s 4xe plug-in hybrid electric powertrain, available on select trims coming spring 2022, including the ultimate Grand Cherokee off-roader – the Trailhawk®.
The system comprises three E Selec driving modes to best suit your journeys.
They include Hybrid, blending torque from the electric motor and turbocharged gas engine; Electric, for nearly zero tailpipe emissions and an estimated 25 miles1 of all-electric range, and eSave mode to prioritize the engine and save the battery charge for later.
With 365 horsepower, 470 lb.-ft of torque, an estimated 56 MPGe2 fuel economy rating and 470-mile3 combined driving range, the options they provide are electrifying.
Proof of the Grand Cherokee 4xe’s remarkable capabilities has been demonstrated by the Trailhawk 4xe which completed the formidable Rubicon Trail in all-electric mode during an exhilarating, elevated ride.
The all-new 2022 Grand Cherokee is currently available in Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve trims, and 4xe will soon be available in Grand Cherokee 4xe, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve trims.
