Avoid the unexpected by scheduling a prereturn inspection for your leased vehicle. Scheduling an inspection online is easy and can be arranged at the place and time most convenient for you. Additional tools, like The Wear Table and The Wear Tool, are available to prepare for your inspection by helping you estimate any potential damage.

If you have questions, the Lease Servicing Team is available to offer assistance at any time throughout your lease-end experience. Below are some options available to you at the end of your lease.

Lease a new vehicle

Upgrade your current vehicle or switch to something different. The choice is yours and when you re-lease through Chrysler Capital we’ll waive your disposition fee.

It doesn’t stop there. When you lease again through Chrysler Capital, you may be eligible for returning lessee bonus cash and/or additional incentives, including up to $500 in waived wear and tear fees. Your dealer can help determine available loyalty programs that may apply.

If you decide to lease a new vehicle:

  • Contact the Chrysler Capital Lease Servicing Team at 855-563-5635 to arrange for a pre-inspection of your current vehicle
  • Contact your originating dealer regarding an appointment to turn in your current leased vehicle
  • Check for excess wear and tear, completing any repairs prior to your turn-in date
  • Check your mileage
  • Schedule an appointment for a test drive with your originating dealer

Have the following items with you when you arrive at the dealership:

  • A copy of your Chrysler Capital Lease Agreement
  • All keys, keyless entry fobs and any other additions associated with your leased vehicle
  • All vehicle documents received at time of delivery including the owner’s and maintenance manuals

Pre-Inspection – Avoid the unexpected

Pre-inspections help you avoid the unexpected by eliminating surprises on your final vehicle return invoice. To help you determine wear and use on your vehicle, Chrysler Capital will cover the cost of a prereturn inspection completed with one of our certified vendors. They work around your schedule to provide a free and easy assessment of your leased vehicle’s wear, allowing you time to contact your dealer for any necessary repairs.

Some of the benefits of obtaining a prereturn inspection include:

  • The inspection is free of charge to you
  • No surprise excess wear charges on your final vehicle return invoice
  • Flexible self-scheduling option at your convenience and location of choice
  • Comprehensive assessment of your vehicle’s wear, helping you understand any outstanding obligations, if applicable
  • The opportunity to visit your dealer for repairs
  • Avoid the hassle of unexpected damages that could occur post turn-in (example: transport or dealership lot damage)

  • Have your full 17-digit VIN and Chrysler Capital account number handy when scheduling your appointment
  • For additional customer support or assistance with scheduling an appointment, you can contact the Chrysler Capital Lease Servicing Team at 855-563-5635 or you may contact the vendors directly
  • The vendor provides an on-the-spot copy of the inspection report, plus you can request additional copies later

Before having your prereturn inspection, we also encourage you to utilize The Wear Table and The Wear Tool as added ways to avoid the unexpected. Both are available in the Lease-End Guide and were designed to assist in performing a self-inspection and estimating any potential vehicle damage prior to an official pre-inspection.
