Beginning the new year in style.
Since bringing their Italian-originated designs overseas to the U.S., Alfa Romeo brand vehicles have made quite an impression within the auto industry with their authentic styling and exhilarating driving performance.
While its 2019 models certainly shined this year, including at the DFW Auto Show this past spring, the FCA US brand looks to only up the ante with its new release of the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio.
A big highlight for the Alfa Romeo brand vehicles comes in the debut of an available Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and more upgraded interior features.
According to an official FCA US press release, ADAS functions will include “level II autonomous capability enabling the vehicle to control acceleration, braking, and steering – providing the driver with the perfect balance between driving pleasure and autonomous control.”
Available ADAS functions feature:
- Highway Assist System
- Traffic Jam Assist System
- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Lane Keep Assist
- Active Blind Spot Assist
- Driver Attention Alert
- Standard Full Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus
Other available tech features include: Wi-Fi Hotspot, Mobile App with Remote Operations, SOS Call (Private) and Roadside Assistance, Vehicle Finder as well as Stolen Vehicle Locator and Assistance.
In addition, Alfa Romeo strived to refine its already sleek and elegant interiors, including an updated center console with a new 8.8-inch touchscreen display. According to the FCA US press release, other design features will include, “a machined-knurled aluminum-look rotary dial, upgraded knob materials and increased storage capacity … plus a new phone storage area with available wireless charging.”
For fans of the racing-inspired lifestyle, the Alfa Romeo vehicles will make you feel like the king of the road with a premium leather-wrapped shifter and steering wheel-mounted push-button start.
The Giulia and Stelvio receive new metallic exterior color options, which include Anodized Blue, Lunare White, and, for the first time on Giulia, the unmistakable Verde Visconti Metallic paint.
