You can’t beat a new Ram truck.
That’s the clear message from buyers who have placed the brand firmly at the top of a prestigious auto ranking – and set an industry record in the process.
Ram occupies first place in J.D. Power’s 2021 Initial Quality Study (IQS), becoming the first truck-exclusive brand to do so.

The study, which analyzes the views of owners at 90 days of ownership, is recognized as a benchmark for new-vehicle quality.
Ram’s large heavy-duty pickups powered it to success, with the Ram 2500/3500 winning its segment of 2021 model-year vehicles.
In a strong showing for FCA US vehicles, the Jeep® Gladiator picked up the honors for best midsize pickup.

Ram brand’s IQS win builds on a tied third-place finish in 2020 and is part of a rapid rise through the rankings in recent years.
“If you start with strong design and follow that up with discipline on the plant floor, you get the kind of results we’re seeing today,” said Mark Champine, Head of North America Customer Experience at Stellantis, parent company to FCA US.
“This feedback reflects our primary focus – to build vehicles our customers will be proud to recommend to friends and family.”
