With so many online options available to shoppers these days, how do you know which give you the most bang for your buck?
According to the J.D. Power 2015 Third-Party Automotive Website Evaluation Study℠, if you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle, NADAguides is worth your time.
Measuring 5,000 user’s experiences on a 1,000-point scale, the study targets four critical areas of consideration (in order of importance):
- Information/content
- Appearance
- Navigation
- Speed
The shoppers all indicated they would be purchasing within the next 24 months and included those in the market for both new and used vehicles.
In addition to ranking the third-party automotive websites, the study determined that shoppers who got the most out of their online experience were 10 times more likely to then move forward by requesting information from a dealership. But, not yet ready to take the search offline, most shoppers (67%) want a dealership representative to contact them via email before they commit to kicking tires.
If you are currently in the market, or about to start shopping for a car, here is the complete list of rankings from the J.D. Power 2015 Third-Party Automotive Website Evaluation Study℠. If you’d like to learn more about the study, visit JDPower.com.
