Sometimes you just need to go off road.
For some drivers, there’s a sense of adventure that lies away from the asphalt. Feeling your ride overpower the terrain, toppling hills, bouncing over moguls or splashing up mud and dirt can be quite the thrill ride.
One of the premier trucks for such thrills has been the 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon. Now off-road fanatics have another option as Ram announced a new Mojave Sand limited-edition package to the Power Wagon lineup. The color is exclusive to the Power Wagon and marks the first time Mojave Sand exterior paint has been available on a Ram Heavy Duty truck.
“The Ram Power Wagon is the most off-road capable production pickup in the market today and offering the new Mojave Sand limited edition will appeal to enthusiasts looking for a truck that stands above the crowd,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Ram Brand – FCA US LLC North America.
“Power Wagon is extraordinarily competent off road and provides both the towing and payload required in a heavy-duty truck.”
Mojave Sand edition trucks comes with an all-black interior along with Ram’s Uconnect 8.4 touchscreen. It will also include the Heavy Duty Luxury Group, which brings LED bed lighting, overhead console power heated/fold-away mirrors and a universal garage door opener.
The Ram Power Wagon’s performance features gear near perfectly with off-road journeys. The heavy-duty pickup includes a unique suspension with more than two inches of lift, 14.3 inches of ground clearance, and is powered by a 410 horsepower, 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 engine.
This announcement is Ram brand’s latest reveal of new pickup trucks after announcing the future release of the 2018 Ram Harvest Edition Chassis Cab earlier this month. Harvest Edition trucks will go on sale in the third quarter of 2018 and will be available across the Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cab lineup.
Limited-edition Ram Power Wagon Mojave Sand packages arrive in dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2018.
