Chrysler Capital customers could win $10,000 for choosing paperless statements

 

Entering a sweepstakes for a chance to win $10,000 could be easier than you imagined. It could be as simple as signing up for paperless statements with Chrysler Capital.

The auto lender is automatically entering eligible¹ customers who sign up for paperless statements between Oct. 1, 2019, and Nov. 30, 2019, for the chance to win a $10,000 grand prize or one of five $500 prizes. No purchase is necessary. See Official Rules for complete details.

Eligible customers who signed up for paperless statements on or after April 1, 2019, also will be automatically entered in the sweepstakes. This will be the second sweepstakes conducted this year by Chrysler Capital.

“It just feels incredible, it’s amazing,” said Chrysler Capital’s first $10,000 grand-prize winner Mark S. of Copley, OH, who signed up for e-statements after leasing a truck in January. “I’ve never really won anything like this before in my life, so it’s hard to describe.”

‘Customers are thrilled’

Chrysler Capital is affiliated with Santander Consumer USA (SC), which awarded comparable prizes.

The first SC winner, Nakeia C. of LaGrange, GA, said she “was amazed at how quick and simple it was” to sign up online to receive paperless e-statements rather than other available options. Nakeia said the $10,000 prize was “definitely a blessing” she planned to share with her family.

“Our customers are thrilled with how easy it is for them to sign up for our paperless option,” said Zach Munichiello, senior director of Operational Strategy. “After answering a brief question at sign in, they eliminate the worry of receiving additional paper in the mail and discover the ease of accessing their statements through our online portal, 24/7.”

This new sweepstakes works just like the last one.

Good-bye to worrying

“When eligible Chrysler Capital customers enroll in e-statements at the SC website, they will be automatically entered into our sweepstakes,” said Lori Millard, executive vice president of Customer Service and Operations. “Eligible customers already enrolled in e-statements [since April 1, 2019] also will be entered.”

“The e-statements, also known as electronic or paperless statements, provide awesome perks for the customer,” Millard said. “Our customers can benefit with easier access to their monthly statements. In today’s high-tech world, having that information available at our fingertips is vital.”

“In addition, our customers can say good-bye to worrying over when they will receive their next statement – or the possibility of it being lost in the mail and missing a payment,” said Millard.

Signing up is easy

Electronic statements are a simple, smart way to tidy up your monthly stack of bills.

“The electronic statement has all the information that the paper statement has,” according to Jessica Gonzalez, vice president of Operational Strategy. “It’s not missing anything.”

Signing up for electronic (paperless) billing with Chrysler Capital is easy:

• Log on at MyAccount
• Choose the “Go Paperless” option
• Select “Electronic” under “Statement Preferences”
• Click “Save”

Then watch your email for the notification that your next statement is available at MyAccount.

If you signed up for electronic statements since April 1, 2019, and don’t see the “Go Paperless” button on the “Account Summary,” then you are entered in the sweepstakes automatically.

The first sweepstakes, which ran for two months, nearly doubled the enrollment rate for paperless statements, with a total of about 190,000 customers opting to go green.
